I need a caterer!!

Hey ladies!! I'm new to the boards but within 5 minutes of reading I found TONS of vendors I had never even heard of that look quite awesome! I'm having my reception at the Erie Street Market's Civic Center Promenade and they have preferred caterers but you are also allowed to pick your own. The woman there is super flexible. The only thin that is mandatory with them is the liquor. So.... I'm looking for a caterer. A good, cheap caterer. Any ideas? When I google, it brings up the normal Gladieaux, premier, etc. I kind of want to be a little different.

Any input would be AWESOME!
Thanks!!!

Malczewski's -- Polish food, FANTASTIC!  I'm very picky about my kielbasa, and they do it perfectly

Inky's -- Italian Food.  Whenever I'm back in Ohio (from Colorado), I make a special point to go to Inky's at least once.

I used Gladieux for my wedding; would not recommend...

I never knew you could rent the Erie Street Market's Civic Center. Are there any photos of that hall online? sorry to change the subject but im looking for halls downtown.

I spoke with premier and the lady was very helpful and flexible

I know Premier is one of the more commonly used caterers, but it's for good reason!!   Their food is sooooo good, and prices are great too.  Plus, they're willing to do just about anything - so you definitely don't have to have the "same old" wedding food!

We had Jamacian Jerk Pork and Turkey Divan as our main dishes and they were a big hit!  We've been married over 3 years and we STILL occasionally get comments from friends/family that our wedding had the best food of any wedding they've been to. :)
