Anybody around?

Re: Anybody around?

  • Fried oreos? Never had them. I like my oreos soaked in milk til they're so mushy I have to eat them with a spoon, so not sure how I'd feel about them being all crispy and fried. And I just meant I like HAVING eyes in general, nothin too special about mine in particular. Oh who am I kidding I like my eyes ha.
  • I can't eat a fried oreo.

You know what else I can't eat?  Fried butter.

  • Speaking of burgers, H uses beer to make his, and they are fantastic. I wish we had a grill.

Fried butter makes me want to vomit.  They serve fried Dr. Pepper here and I'm pretty sure it's just the syrup they use for the soda fried in grease. I mean, that just sounds awful.

I am still at work. I searching for hotels to stay at in Vegas and lurking on here. I think I am all caught. I didn't read the ML thread though.

Speaking of fried stuff, I had fried avocado at he LA county fair and it was great!

  • I have no desire to try fried Oreos, butter, or Dr. Pepper.  Or twinkies or brownies.  Ew.

Cheese curds. Those were pretty awesome fried.
  • My sister's bf tried the fried butter at the state fair a couple years ago just because.  He said it kind of reminded him of pancakes and made him feel bad about himself.

Yes to mushy oreos, no to fried.

Hell yes to a corndog.  Effing love thiem.

And I would love to try a fried avocado.  That sounds great.

MMMMM, donuts!  (That's for you AATB)   I will admit to mad love for churros and the funnel cake.  Yum.
  • Hi everyone!
Any, your sig pic is awesome.

I feel like I barely even know what's going on anymore.  Between finishing up wedding stuff and training for a new team at my job, it's been a crazy past week. Gah.  I just want it to be next weekend.

  • I love corndogs. Man now I really want one.

I don't even know what's for dinner. I'm waiting to hear from H if he needs me for something. Other than that I'm vegging out watching TV.
  • Blue, I've seen deep fried butter. No joke.

Ha I wanted the whole Wisconsin experience, it felt incomplete without cheese curds. They were just like bite-sized mozzerella sticks.
  • Chels- the only reason I would eat fried butter is if I wanted to die.

    Agreed. It looks gross.
Cheese curds are awesome. If they kept long enough, I'd totally send you some.  But theyd probably go bad.  I also love dep fried pickles.
  • I've heard people rave about fried butter and oreos and the like. But I just can't bring myself to try them, and I love fried food.

<div>Ahh, but they are nice and mushy. It's pretty much an oreo dipped in pancake batter, fried, and covered with powder sugar. The batter part is fried and crispy but the inside oreo is smushy and warm. Yum and horrible for you. </div>
  • I imagine cheese curds to look like a yeast infection.

  • I haven't heard of any of this stuff. Fried butter sounds pretty gross. I don't like oreos, so that is a no too.

I'll stick to corn dogs and chicken.
  • Cheese curds are nasty.  Your food should not squeak when you bite into it.

I'm curious about these beer burgers as well.
