Our wedding on Nov 10 was beautiful

The weather played nice, about 70 and sunny with a light breeze, there was still some fall color left, and overall things went pretty smoothly. We had some friends that really showed what awesome people they are with all the help they gave us, it made us really happy to share our day with those who meant the most to us. Getting ready was no problem, arrived with time to spare and had a place to wait before the ceremony. We had a slight hiccup when I gave my engagement ring to my sister (MOH) to have her give it to the best man (the wedding band is an enhancer, it wouldn't look right without both parts) and he at that point realized that the boxes they grabbed did in fact not contain our rings, but were empty

This delayed things about half an hour, which unfortunatly rushed our reception. We had put in hours of work building a great playlist and nobody really had time to dance

BUT, the ceremony was awesome, the pictures I've seen are coming out great, and I can't wait to get them all back!

We did have 22 people who had RSVP'd 'yes' not show up (about 1/3), no email or call or anything, makes me really glad we didn't cater and have to pay by the head. We got rave reviews on the food we all worked so hard on

We ended up only having 44 people but they were the ones who really made the day special

We didn't get to eat at much as we wanted but we took leftovers on the honeymoon!

We were slightly disappointed with the lack of gifts... I know that makes us sound awful but we didn't have high hopes to begin with and it was far less than even that. My friends stationed in a war zone were even able to send us one that we came home to, but no other cards or anything else waiting for us from people much closer (distance and relationship-wise). We recieved a small handful at the wedding but maybe I'm out of date and the couple doesn't get a whole lot anymore? Anyway

After the reception we met up at a local place for some food and drinks (our reception ended around 5) and so we got to spend more time with family and friends before we took off the next morning

I can't wait to get all the disposable cameras devoloped and see all the goofy shots!

Here's a few of my favorite pics!

I did the bouquets myself, really proud of how they turned out!
