alterations..will they be done in time??

I went tonight for my second fitting after rescheduling the appt twice because the dress was not ready. It has been exactly 7 weeks since the last fitting and still the pins were still in place for the hem and the bustle ( which is eloaborate and will have 28 ties). The sides were taken it but is still needs taken in a little more at the bust. My wedding is in a month and I am getting nervous that his dress won't be finished. I also find it stressfull that the seamstress says things like "So what was I supposed to do to this" when it is written and drawn out on her order forms. The store assures me there is plenty of time and I have another fitting in a week. Do you think there is enough tim eand that I ma just overreacting and worrying for no reason?

  • I'm sure you'll be fine. They'll have to work on it as long as they have to. Even if its 24 hours straight! :) It's their job & responsibility.  Their problem not yours

I guess this is normal behavior for the seamstress because I posted a similar question as well.  I'm worried that my BM's dresses won't be ready in time for my August 7th wedding.  But the seamstress assures me that we have enough time as well as few others.  So today I decided I will not stress over it.  Try not to stress but at the same time, stay on top of the person making your dresses.  Good luck.
