[QUOTE]In Response to Re: Pole. : Thanks!!!  And he deserves a $300 carrier, right???  OMG, I feel like Paris Hilton. Bummer for Oscar that he got me for a mom and will have to live with a PetsMart carrier :(

Ah, well, Charlotte has to endure a basement, bachelor apartment until mid-June and a cruel mistress who won't let her go outside and chase the squirrels (they're only half as big as she is! They are not to be messed with!) so Oscar's not the world's most indigent pet.

Strangely, I think he's the second dog of that type I know of named Oscar. The other belongs to the big, gruff handyman at my mother's office.

[QUOTE]Well thank god I'm not the only one with this little issue.  Our dogs need therapy! I started taking him to this new dog park in my city, which was fun for the first couple times, then one day he saw some stupid little girl (kids aren't allowed in there) running after a dog, so he starts chasing after her and jumped at her and made her cry.  We left and haven't been back since.  :(

Oh no! Not good. Quincy has to wear a muzzle when t's niece comes over. He definitely needs therapy. I'm worried about when we have kids, I think once he realizes the baby is there to stay he will be ok and become super protective of the baby as well.

  • 1. What are you doing now, other than knotting?  Watching reruns of Conan
    2. What is something you want to buy right now?  A black Balenciaga bag
    3. What's something that you need to buy, but don't feel like buying?  pay the bills, not much besides that that I'd rather not buy
    4. If you're a pet owner, post a picture of your pet(s) and tell us their names. If you're not a pet owner, what kind of pet would you like to have, and what's keeping you from getting one?  There's the two in my sig.  All the pics are on the desktop, which isn't on, so I can't get them because I'm too lazy to get up and turn it on.
    5. What are your Valentine's Day plans?  Nada at the moment.  Not even going to try and do dinner; last time we did v-day dinner we waited for 3 hours with reservations.  I'm putting together the STD's, but that's the extent of my plans.
    6. Did you watch Grey's Anatomy tonight? If so, what did you think?  nope
    7. For those that live with their FI/DH, on a standard day when you're both home, do you spend a lot of your time together in the same room? Or do you just sort of do your own thing?  We usually do our own thing, me on the laptop in the living room and he on the desktop in the basement.
    8. What kind of car do you drive? (Bonus for PIP)  Again, no pics cause of the aforementioned reason, but it's a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix or a 1998 Ford Escort.

Haha, yeah it takes a while for kids to understand that about dogs, especially puppies.  The girl at the park was probably like 9 years old, but she still didn't get that running around like a bat out of hell gets dogs hyped up.
  • Fact: the easiest/ quickest way to get dogs wound up and hyper is to run- either toward them or away from them. It's play time to them.

We're trying to get Em around more kids, but it's hard- I'm afraid the kids will be dramatic about it. We are starting with getting him around other dogs as much as possible.

How much bigger is yours going to get??

    1. What are you doing now, other than knotting?  Sitting next to a sleeping FI and Evie---turds.

    2. What is something you want to buy right now?  A new car...mine sux.

    3. What's something that you need to buy, but don't feel like buying?

    4. If you're a pet owner, post a picture of your pet(s) and tell us their names. If you're not a pet owner, what kind of pet would you like to have, and what's keeping you from getting one?
Sarah G. Beans--She's my parents cat now from when I moved and my dad and her are buddy-buddy so she'll probably just always stay there.

Evie-kins (She's actually my FBIL but she totally claims FI--it'll be sad when we move out :()

    5. What are your Valentine's Day plans?  Don't flame me...haha, ok you can.  FI and I don't like V-Day...it's more of a greeting card holiday to me :-P  We do date nights every couple of weeks or every week so we'll be doing a date night this Saturday instead...why fight the crowds?  Or eat chocolate I definitely shouldn't have?!

    6. Did you watch Grey's Anatomy tonight? If so, what did you think?
      It's Tivo'd!!!!

    7. For those that live with their FI/DH, on a standard day when you're both home, do you spend a lot of your time together in the same room? Or do you just sort of do your own thing?   We always hang out when we're both home because we don't get to see a lot of each other.  We usually watch TV/Movies, do a Date Night, play WoW...drink some dranks...the usual.

    8. What kind of car do you drive? A POS.  99 Grand Am

He just turned 3 in january, he's full size at 12 pounds.  Small but he can jump high, haha!
  • 1. What are you doing now, other than knotting?
Coughing. Working on my invite mock-ups.

    2. What is something you want to buy right now?
    new boots

    3. What's something that you need to buy, but don't feel like buying?
cough medicine. requires going outside where it's too cold to breathe.

    4. If you're a pet owner, post a picture of your pet(s) and tell us their names. If you're not a pet owner, what kind of pet would you like to have, and what's keeping you from getting one?

This is Bella, playing with a rolled up sticky note and a Q-Tip

    5. What are your Valentine's Day plans?
Have to work, but we're going to stay in and make dinner.

    6. Did you watch Grey's Anatomy tonight? If so, what did you think?
    Never watched.

    7. For those that live with their FI/DH, on a standard day when you're both home, do you spend a lot of your time together in the same room? Or do you just sort of do your own thing?
Sometimes I'm on the computer and he's playing Madden. If we're together, we're watching a movie or reading. I'd say time-wise it's pretty even.

    8. What kind of car do you drive? (Bonus for PIP)

:( I don't drive. Where I used to live, I had buses and Metro very close to me, so I never bothered. Now I need to.

  • 1. What are you doing now, other than knotting? Working, haha, yeah right.
    2. What is something you want to buy right now? New clothes, my bachelorette party is in 2 weeks and I want a few cute new dresses.
    3. What's something that you need to buy, but don't feel like buying? I need to get my car serviced, yuck.
    4. If you're a pet owner, post a picture of your pet(s) and tell us their names. If you're not a pet owner, what kind of pet would you like to have, and what's keeping you from getting one? I do not have any pictures saved to my work computer, but I have pics of them in my bio.  We have a 6 year old Yorkie-Poo named Bella, a 2 year old miniature Schnauzer named Maddie and we just adopted a 7 week old Lab mix named Jackson.
    5. What are your Valentine's Day plans? Going out to dinner, nothing to big, Valentines Day is not a big deal to me.
    6. Did you watch Grey's Anatomy tonight? If so, what did you think? No
    7. For those that live with their FI/DH, on a standard day when you're both home, do you spend a lot of your time together in the same room? Or do you just sort of do your own thing? We spend most of the time together in the living room, the only time we do not is on Mondays when the Bachelor is on, he hates that show with a passion so he will go in the other room for that!
    8. What kind of car do you drive? (Bonus for PIP) Infiniti G35 Coupe.  No picture, but it is a dark silver and I love it!
