Secrets Resorts Question

We just booked Secrets, but the resort isn't yet opened so theres not much info on it yet.  We have never been to an AI before, so not sure what to expect.  What exactly does "unlimited food and drinks" mean?  Can we order as much food as we want?  Like if DH and I want to order seperate soups/salad, appetizer, entree and dessert, can we?  Or is it like how Fridays/Chillis/Applebees has the 2 for $20 where you split appetizers, desserts, and get seperate entrees?  How does it work for drinks?  In an AI resort like Secrets, can I pretty much walk around without any money and still be fine within the resort (unless I want souverniers, gift shop, or activities)?

    yes, you literally dont have to pay for anything unless you want a whole bottle of wine/champagne/soveniers/excursions. but if you can drink (by the glass/bottle) and eat as much as you guys want!! we are secrets st james in jamaica!

    You don't have to pay for any food or drink. Eat as much as you want! You only need money for the gift shop, some of the water sport activities, and excursions! :)

    We didn't try it, but my parents have been to Dreams, which is the same as secrets just not adult only, and apparently they even let you order multiple entrees or appertizers each if you want.  Not all resorts allow you to do this.

    If you feel like ordering 6 entrees you can do so and not even feel bad about it! Eat and drink to your hearts content!
