more JP questions..

I don't know why but I just can't seem to focus on this JP thing and today I finally decided to sit down and research. Did you meet with your JP before booking? Are they local to your venue? If you don't mind sharing, how much did they charge?

So far, the only one who has caught my eye online is Roberta Wilkins of I do NE weddings, her price is fantastic but I don't like meeting with a bunch of vendors, I booked our photographer and DJ with the first people I met cause I knew their prices were great. Please help me, I feel like I'm falling behind.

The JP that we're using was one of several recommended by our venue, (Shattuck-Jaffrey, NH).  I looked at the websites of the recommended JP's and we spoke with them by phone and emailed, (but haven't met them in person yet).  Since we're looking for a pretty basic ceremony--this was good enough.  We booked her via email/phone and will have a meeting with her in the Spring.  The price is $150 for the day of the ceremony, (still not sure how much to tip though).  If we had wanted to have her at the rehersal--there would have been an additional $30 fee, (but we're not having here there for the rehersal).

Try aerweddings.com.  Andrea is very nice and she's young too, which I thought was nice.  She lives in the Nashua area and I did meet her before I booked her.  Her fee was $350.00 that's with the rehearsal and she's also going to come to the chapel early (I know this will probably sound weird) to help us all get in line properly to walk down the aisle since there isn't anyone there to help us out.

We also booked Andrea-  She did our friend's wedding and they raved over her.  She seems really sweet, helpful, and she seems happy to give us the ceremony we want.
