Wedding Invitations & Paper

Where to buy paper for invitations?

I'm wanting to make my own invites and want to know where to buy nice, shinny, elegant paper stock? Or does anyone know where I can buy black pocketfold?

  • Have you tried Paper Depot in Mpls?
  • No I have not yet, but did think about going to check the place out.
    Have you been there?

  • I think you can order them online at michaels.com, or google Michael's craft stores. You can get invitation kits that allow you to print your own invitations at home, and they come with the cardstock, envelopes, and sometimes special seals. If you go on their website there's a tons of different templates available in different formats.

  • My friend's sister-in-law went to Paper Depot and loved them. My friend even said if she had to do it all over again, she would do Paper Depot. They don't do the printing there, but will give suggestions on where to get the printing done. I'll be going to Paper Depot and I'm from Grand Forks. It's supposed to be quite overwhelming if you don't have a clue on what you want, so be prepared.
  • lcipaper.com also has pocketfolds and good quality cardstock.

cardsandpockets.com has the same exact stuff though and I've found their pricing is slightly cheaper (and you can customize qty, whereas lci paper sells in packs of like 25 pocketfolds etc.)
