Bachelorette Party...plans fell through, suggestions???

Hey ladies...

I am having my Bachelorette party on May 22.

My bridesmaids already sent out a "Save the Date" invitation on facebook with details....but now plans have changed.  I am a HUGE Twins fan, and we were planning to get tickets to the game.  They are sold out for that game now. Cry

This is a HUGE bummer to me, but now I am looking for something else to do! Something that is around the same price of $20 a person....for a group of 20 or so people.

Any thoughts, suggestions....would be GREAT!  We are still planning on getting a hotel doing games/dinner, and then out for drinks and dancing. But...I would like to do something fun before.

First off, we have the same Bachelorette party date :)

I would suggest going to Melting Pot, we went for my friends bach party and it was sooo fun and not to mention AMAZING food! It was $34 a person but that included a private room, apps, 2 different cheese fondues (unlimited sides) and 2 different chocolate desserts (with unlimited brownies, fruits, etc.) It was so worth it IMO!

Mine is this coming weekend and we are doing: hotel room with apps, drinks, games.  Dinner at Palamino.  We thought about Melting Pot but didn't think it was fair to ask everyone to spend X amount on dinner.  Palomino has items from $5-35 so wide range.  Then we'll go out for dancing.

Have you thought about Mel's Beauty Bar?  I've never been there, but my sister asked me if I wanted to go there for mine and I decided againest...maybe it's something to check out.

Weather permitting, we are planning to do a pontoon ride on Lake Minnetonka to start out my bachelorette party. A Friend of mine did that last year, and it was so fun, so I decided to shamelessly steal their idea, lol. After a few hours of that, we'll head downtown, get gussied up, on go for dinner/drinks/etc.

I went to a girlfriends bachelorette party not too far from downtown Mps and we went to a boa (sp?) class (basically a tamer exotic dance with clothes on). It was an hour long for $20/person. It was so much fun! It was a surprise to the bride and she loved it! Then it was back to the hotel for drink and snacks then off to some clubs. If you're interested in let me know, I can find the phone number of the dance instructor for you.

If you had your heart set on a baseball game (trust me, I did, too, but heck I can't even find two tickets to a game until end of august, let alone enough for a whole bachelorette fest) what about a Saints game in St. Paul... I know its no substitute, but the games are always fun, with some good tailgating to be had before hand... and way cheaper than a twins game!

I agree with PPs - a Saints game could be a lot of fun!  And you can be sillier there too :)

But, shouldn't your BMs be planning this?!

They are planning...they informed me they couldn't get tickets, and asked what I wanted to do instead.  So I thought I would get some ideas and pass them along to my bridesmaids.

My sister is my maid of honor...and she is only 15, so she is needing help.

Thanks for the suggestions, I will pass some ideas along.
