After hardcore dieting for the last week because I was terrified my dress wouldn't fit, I had my first fitting tonight and IT FIT!! LOL. I hadn't tried it on since May and I've definitely gained a few since then. I went with a seamstress that was reccommended on my local board, since I had heard so many horror stories about how much they cost at Alfred Angelo. In any case, she is only charging me $150 to hem and bustle it! I'm soooo relieved!

    That's awesome!! I totally saw pictures from a wedding a friend of mine went to and the bride had the same dress. Lol. I actually haven't seen anybody else with it so I think we chose well! ;-)

    Your dress is beautiful. I have an AA dress and well and did the same thing- they wanted $300 for a petitte dress and another $300 for a hem (petitte was still too long) and bustle.  I went with someone local and paid only $250.
