Ring confession- PIP

I have a minor confession. I had to take my engagement ring and wedding band for there semi annual inspection. I was out Xmas shopping so I figured I would stop while I was out.

I didn't want to leave my wedding band in my band or risk losing it, so I wore it while Xmas shopping! I took it off as soon as I could put it safelt back in our safe. I felt like I was doing something wrong, but it was kind of fun to wear it for a couple hours.

I took a picture of them together to share. I don't think I ever did before.

I did the same thing when I took mine in for their 6 month cleaning! We had some shopping to do after getting them cleaned, so I just wore both of them

I've worn mine out before on accident. I sometimes wear both around the house lol

Yeah I'm having an issue with not wearing mine either. I just got mine yesterday so I can't stop taking it out and wearing/looking at it. I told FI he needs to put it somwhere so I don't know where it is lol.

If I already had my wedding band, I would do the same thing. That's one of the reason why FI said he wasn't ordering mine until 3 months out.

Yours are exactly like mine but bigger, i would wear it too if i was in that situation, i haven't bought it yet, i don't need too for months since i know exactly what i want & you can get it anywhere lol.

I did the same thing. When I picked our bands up I had a few other errands to run. I wasn't comfortable leaving min in the car and I was scared it could fall out of my purse. So I figured better safe than sorry and wore it out.

I am SO surprised that I have not done this yet! FI bought my wedding band almost a month ago, and I have not taken it out of the box since we left the store. I am the type to want to wear it everywhere, and not care that we're not married yet

FI and I are thinking we might just wear them all around once we get them anyway...we're essentially married, and aren't following a ton of the wedding-esque traditions anyway.

I get mine out of the box and try it on all the time! Haha, never worn it around though. My FI is super traditional. If he saw me wearing it around the house he would definitely ask questions.. haha.

I'm jealous that you all have your wedding bands already! We're having ours custom-made, and while we told them back in August that we're in no hurry, they still haven't gotten back to us so we're getting impatient. January 7th we'll be in the area for our cake tasting, so we're going to stop by then. Hopefully they have designs done! We know they've probably been busy with the holidays, which is why we haven't gone in yet.

I would totally wear mine around the house (unless FI hides it from me).

My wedding band is at the safe at the bank so I haven't been able to wear them together.

The only time I got to see them together was just after he proposed. And I must say they do look great together!

Beautiful! Maybe it's a good thing my band hasn't been resized yet. I'd be tempted to do the same kind of thing.

haha I laughed when I read this post! I wish I had my wedding band! I'm sure I would be wearing it around as well just to "break it in" haha.
