Wedding colors

I didn't know where to put this question so I thought that I would put it here since the dresses are the main part of were your colors standout. We are thinking of using purple and red. We really want these colors. Everyone thinks we should change them. I saw were red and purple are listed under red color combos on here, BUT there are no pics of them together. So my question....Has anyone seen this done and what are thoughts on those two colors. Open to suggesttions.

P.S. Not set on any shade of purple or red yet. However I have seen a shade of purple that is like a darker light purple that I really like.

I think it would look good.. I think you should also maybe even throw in another color

THANKS SO MUCH! Wow is was great to be able to see them together. I love the lavender dress with the red sash. I realy love a lavender sash that I saw. I think that would be cool have me in white dress with lavender sash and brides maids in lavender dresses with red sashes. WOW. thanks.
