I need some advice. I am having an outdoors wedding, at a friends house, in the field behind his house. Non traditional wedding. The problem I am having is how to transition from the actual ceremony to the reception. It's all going to be in the same area, so after the "kiss the bride" moment, I'm not sure where to go. Do we kiss then move straight to the reception area to have our first dance? How do we make it not awkward for everyone? As a guest, what would you think is neat?

[QUOTE]I love when the reception immediately follows the reception. I would do a short cocktail hour first- let the guests get up and stretch their legs and get something to drink. You can go finish taking pictures while they do that. Then you could do your first dance.

This is what we're planning on too.
Now, as for WHERE on the farm everything is... haven't figured that out yet <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-wink.gif" border="0" alt="Wink" title="Wink" />
