    Oh, have I ever....

Only for a week or so, though, I swear it!

I'm pretty tough, and I've seen very little undeserved snark 'round these parts.  I solemnly swear not to be a baby and call you mean.

AH!  We're actually considering starting up a dodgeball league!  Excellent outlet for aggression, no doubt.  There's nothing like spiking a ball into your dear friends' faces to lift the spirit.....

Ooooh! Kickball!  I met my BF on a kickball league in DC!  Don't tell me that's how you met yours?

I kicked some serious butt at kickball - I remember after one inning where I caught 2 flys and ended the inning, one guy from the other team went, "Aww, the little girl is pretending she can catch."  BF had to hold me back, because I was going to go show him that I know how to KICK, too!

Holy Jesus, that WAS a big pile of crazy last night, wasn't it?!?  I really enjoyed watching the fireworks from afar.  It was like 4th of July all over again!  Maybe if you ladies would quit being so damn cranky all the time....

I promise I am normal (AND fun - thanks JG!).  I might get a little antsy in my pantsies waiting for a ring, but I manage to keep it together.

Thanks for looking out for me, Jeana :)  I would hate to have to find another sandbox!

HA!  I know the feeling, cate - it's always surprising how much anger a red playground ball can bring out....  I'm really quite awful at kickball.  Last season, the only time I touched the ball in the outfield was when I tried to catch it, it touched my arm, and I screamed and shut my eyes.  PATHETIC.  I have since learned to catch :)

And no, it was our beloved dogs who brought us together, not kickball!  That's a great story, though.

I'm about to be getting SUPER antsy, because BF is going to Hawaii for work (poor thing, right?) and I'm going to fly out the weekend of my birthday (next month) and hang out with him in HI for a few days.  It seems like the PERFECT opportunity, but I have zero reason to expect anything.  Looking forward to a birthday in freaking PARADISE, though!

    Bajediva, thanks for the welcome!

And Panda, I must admit - I'm awfully fond of the name too, which is why I named my dog Maggie. That's right, I stole my username from my dog.  Judge me if you must.

Aww, my best friend growing up was named Maggie.  So I've got a little soft spot for the name!  Just like I have a rough spot for the name Katherine after the bully in 6th grade.  Anyone else have names that trigger emotions?

Maggie, that's cute that you and your BF met through your dogs - like the movie 'Must Love Dogs'?

HA!  I hadn't even thought of that, but you're right!  We both have white boxers (see my darling boy?) which are relatively rare, so that got us chatting at the dog park :)

I knew a girl in grade school named Bethany who was always kind of dirty and smelly, so that name is ruined for me.  And I also automatically assume any guy named Ty is a huge d-bag, thanks to Ty Pennington.

I have a cousin named Ty. He is really quiet. I don't think he has ever yelled at anyone and I think he is to shy to be a d-bag.

I had a crappy boss (for a very short period of time) named Jack. That of course is the name that FI is dead set on naming our future son. Great. He got it because of his love for 24/ Jack Bauer.

I have yet to meet a K/Crystal that has rubbed me the right way.
