Anyone worn ballroom dancing shoes as wedding shoes?

Hello!
In a search for finding comfy wedding shoes I read where one individual purchased ballroom dancing shoes.  She had to resole the soles because they are super soft I guess. But she said they were super comfterble.  Just wondering if anybody has ever done this??

    I am!  Pictures in my bio.  You can't wear them outside if it is raining or for a long period of time -- I'm only going to be walking to and from the church, so I'm planning on taking them off and wearing different shoes for walking -- because the soles are made of suede.  But they are SO comfortable.  I love them.

    I have not, but that's my plan.  Actually, I'll likely wear high-heeled sandals for the ceremony and formal photos and change into dance shoes before we start dancing.
