A friend of mine. Her FI works at Blizzard (yeah yeah, more WoW talk), and in the new expansion she gets an NPC of her with her name in Stormwind, and she's a candy vendor. He also put his proposal in the ending credits of Starcraft 2. How awesome is that?

I'm jealous of my friend who is getting on a plane for Aruba tomorrow for a DW. I want someone I know to have a DW on an island or somewhere exotic so I have an excuse to go away!

Translation cuz I'm bored:

She's jealous of her friend who is engaged to a guy that works at Blizzard Entertainment (company that makes the games World of Warcraft and Starcraft 2) because he's putting in a character named after her in the WoW expansion (that will make the game bigger), in a densely populated city in the game "stormwind" in which her character will basically sell candies. He also proposed to her in the credits of Starcraft 2 (the other game).

Ooh I get Starcraft 2. Well not really get it, but H plays it all the time. He was actually playing it at 4:30 this morning when I realized he wasn't in bed and went to find him. Is it actually in the credits off all the games, or just your copy?

It's in the credits of all the copies of the game. It says, "<em>First and Last Name</em>, will you marry me?"

I'm jealous of my boss. She is constantly out of the office doing personal stuff and no one seems to care. I, on the other hand, don't get to do anything without a guilt trip and having to makeup my time.

I'm also jealous of anyone who can wear "regular" length jeans. It must be AWESOME to not have to order all of your jeans online. Even people who need a short have it easier...you can always hem!

I am jealous of people who can afford to work only sometimes and concentrate on new business ventures. And people who can travel a lot. Or people who can afford to go to school, pay their mortgage and not work. Yeah, that'd be nice.

This reminds me. I'm jealous of everyone paying in-state tuition. Apparently anything over 18 credits is overloading and I have to pay per credit. So my total tuition for this quarter alone was $10k, and probably will be $10k for each quarter because my course loads are all the same. I'm very lucky to have my FI support me, but we are going to be in a shitload of debt when we both graduate.

Hahahaha weird I have to find where I was talking about it now.

But yeah, one of my favorite family geek stories is when my dad (then he was just my mother's boyfriend because he's not my true biological father) came home to find little ol' me had been playing Zelda and deleted his saved game, when he was at the last boss fight with Ganon and he was so mad he considered leaving my mother because he didn't know if he could forgive me.

My poor father has gotten his revenge though, seeing as my saved games have been deleted at least a dozen times by younger siblings.

Oh, and how my parents don't play on the same server as I do because "the raiding guilds suck" and weren't progressing fast enough for them, hahaha.
