    Wedding Colors:   Chocolate brown, lavendar, & ivory with accents of silver
    Your Favorite Wedding Detail or Idea:   My Save the Dates are my favorite thing so far... but we've just begun planning and making decisions so invites, centerpieces etc are not done, but I have a feeling I'm going to like them tremendously as well!

    Wedding Location:  Ceremony is at Holy Family Catholic Church in Syracuse, NY, but the reception will be at Glenora Vineyard on Seneca Lake
    Wedding Theme and/or Setting:   Vineyard, Winery in a casual, elegant way (we hope)
    Wedding Colors:   Lapis (dark, dark purple) with accents of silver, white and ivory.. maybe a little green
    Your Favorite Wedding Detail or Idea:   Hmm... everything!!!  Right now I am kind of in love with my purple shoes... but tomorrow it will likely be something else.

    I've never even been a bridesmaid, so this is all completely new to me.  Just trying to get some ideas on how/where to spend money vs. DIY.  Currently getting some ideas for flowers.  I almost fell out of my chair when I saw a package price from a florist.

    Wedding Colors: Red, Ivory, and Tan
    Your Favorite Wedding Detail or Idea: our cake topper- it is the inspiration for what we are doing. Also, I am playing around with the idea of oversized balloons and ball shaped things, so our wedding might be considered "ballin'"

    I feel that I still have a long way to go (and my ideas change almost daily), but I love the planning process so far, and I'm hoping that scoping out these boards will help me get the feedback I need on everything. SO excited!

    Wedding Colors: probably dark purple, but there's a chance maybe I'll do like a burgundy instead
    Your Favorite Wedding Detail or Idea: I have no idea lol I'm being overwhelmed with fantastic ideas!

    I've been extremely anti-wedding, however, I visited this location, loved it, saw they did weddings, liked the pics of weddings I saw they did, and loved their price... so I'm starting to plan.  I've started planning before, got overwhelmed and gave up, but I've gotten further than I ever have before so that's a good sign!  Oh yea, I'm also on a major budget :)  A wedding itself is just not important enough for me to save and spend like crazy on, but I want to do something esp for our parents/family... OK, that's my story :)  Look forward to talking to everyone!!

    Wedding Location:  still looking - so many to decide between I don't know where to begin.  Somewhere in the fingerlakes or Rochester, NY area

    Wedding Colors:  Aubergine Amethyst and Silver or Cream
    Your Favorite Wedding Detail or Idea: So far using empty wine bottles with the bottoms cut off at different heights to cover candles as the center pieces.  We plan to put those on mirrors.  And also using wine bottles for table numbers!

    Mandie--- check out Glenora.  Sherry Spotts (wedding coordinator) is wonderful.  The location is gorgeous.  The food and wine are amazing!  I am having my reception there in May and we couldn't be more excited and happier with the venue.
    We checked into Ventosa, but, to be honest, their wines weren't the greatest... and their price was a little steep.
    There are lots of others around the finger lakes, but Glenora is definitely my favorite... I am a little biased though I guess.
    Can't wait to hear where you decide to hold yours.  Good luck and happy planning!

    Monica!  Thank you for the info.  We have tasted at both before and I've heard lots of good things about Glenora.  Have you ever been to Castel Grisch?  Its near Watkins Glen - good wine just kind of far away from places to stay.  That so far is our biggest concern.  Many of our guests will be coming from out of state so we are looking for somewhere that has lodging somewhat near by.

    Wedding Theme and/or Setting: Us and our Story

    Wedding Colors: White, Ivory, Celadon Green

    Your Favorite Wedding Detail or Idea: Instead of flowers decorating our aisle at the ceremony site we have pictures hanging from the chairs in the aisles. Down one side is Raul growing up (Newborn to today and last an Engagement photo of us) and down the other side of the aisle is me growing up (Newborn to now and then Engagement photo)
    These photos will later be matched up by age at each table for the reception.
