Anna, that's fucking messed up. If she can't see how hard you've worked and have an appropriate reaction, then she's crazy. FWIW, I see a huge difference and it's a big accomplishment for you.

Fucking A Anna I would be upset. Out of all people, your mom should be one of the most supportive of your healthy changes.

I am hanging around until H gets home so we can eat. Even though I have been pigging out all afternoon. Additionally, I really want to try making jello cookies, so I hope I have all the stuff to try them out.

ETA: THIS is the jello cookie recipe. just kinda looks cool.

Good evening, ladies.

I'm sitting on my arse doing nothing since I had my eye surgery yesterday. Got the craap scared out of me today, though. When I sat down, I went totally blind in the eye that I had fixed, so I got up, went to a mirror and my eye is full of blood!

I called FI and then called the doctor, who explained that this was ok, ice it down and relax.

Then the nursing student in me kicked in and I remembered that eyes are chock full of capalaries and they bleed. What looks like a lot of blood isn't really, so I needed to chill.

So I'm chilling and surfing the boards.

I'd kill for a slice of key lime pie right about now.
