I was looking at Yankee Candle before the get together yesterday, and saw these. I remembered your fall wedding after the GTG and thought I'd pass it along if you are not done with your centerpieces (saw your colors when I peeked in your bio). They are orange leaf tealight holders on sale for $1.

    SUE!! Thanks so much for even caring enough to notice all of that. I appreciate it so much.....I wonder if I can buy these in store or if I can only buy them online? I will definitely check into these.....THANKS AGAIN SUE!!!

    By the way I was looking on the weddingbee.com classifieds yesterday and I saw alot of damask/toile kinda of stuff for sale and I immediately thought of you...

    You are welcome. I think you have to do it online. These came from their sale link, which is a bunch of Xmas & fall things. I went there to find a scent I have bought from their stores before, but it's no longer available. Frown

    Also, I posted on your "intro" thread, we need to get together for our May birthdays. I have a friend in Ypsi who was born the same day as me, she's 5 hrs older, and I think we could meet up in that area to have a nice "birthday lunch".

    THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!!! Seeing that it is my 30th birthday this year and my friends and family can't come up this year (or me going down there for that matter) due to me haivng my wedding later this year also.....let me know!

    OK, big May birthday party. I'll be celebrating the 25th anniversary of my 30th birthday, I just read Taryn's post, it's also HER 30th, so it's all good.

    Is Ypsi good for both of you? Think we should invite everyone else, or just the May birthday gals? SInce it's Teshia's THIRTIETH we have to have it before
    May 6th so we can truly ring in her new decade.............May 1st sound good? It's a Saturday, may be a bit close to some of the May weddings, not sure.

    Y'all are going to hate me.  I have weddings May 1st, 8th, and 29th.  And Brian is taking me away for my birthday May 21-23.  The only Saturday I'm available is the 15th.  Sundays aren't too bad though.

    TARYN...Never hate my darling!! I am available on any weekend except the weekend of the 21st (I am taking a Motorcycle class that weekend...woo-hoo, gonna get me a crotch rocket!!!!). Let me know as soon as possible though guys because I have to have some kinda party for my 30th!!!!

    May 15th works for me too! OK, so it would have to be late for Teshia and me, early for Taryn, but this will work.


    I'm going to post a GTG for the May birthdays (there might be more people out there who want to come). I really would love a Comedy Castle show,but those are late at night and no one should drive home that late.


    I had suggested Ypsi, but only if we were keeping this on the smallish side as far as attendees. How about if we combine everyone's interest in shopping with a party and have something near the Tanger Outlet Mall in Howelll? Would that work? I'm been googling for restaurants in Howell, and most of them are around exit 145, whereas the mall is exit 133 off I-96. Any ideas? Or should we stick to having it around Detroit suburbs? I'm trying to find something for Teshia & Taryn, the main birthday girls.

    Are people opposed to Great Lakes Crossing?  That's somewhat close for Teshia and me.  Not sure where it falls for everyone else though...
