January 2, and I've already broken my New Year's resolution. I just agreed to be a homebound teacher for one of my students who had been hospitalized since before Thanksgiving.

    I going to think of this as a temporary set back.. Tomorrow I WILL NOT have beer for the football game.   At least I say that now..







    What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.

    I think I would have lasted a lot longer if the cake I was supposed to do for an event next weekend got canceled. I was going to use that money to buy new clothes for my daughters, since everything they own right now is 2" too short.
