Sterling Hills

Hi ladies!

My wedding was planned for this past may, but due to moving into our new house, we postponed it. Now that we are settled, we are back to planning!

Has anybody been to a wedding at sterling Hills golf club, or are thinking of getting married there?!

I've never been there, but have you checked their reviews on this website yet: http://www.weddingwire.com/reviews/sterling-hills-golf-club-camarillo/42ddd8fecc4ba2a3.html Sometimes they have very helpful reviews on there. Hope that helps.

I'm getting married at Sterling Hills on April 23rd.  So far so good.  The only things I didnt care for, were the invitations that come with the packet and thank you cards.  I actually paid extra to get nice invitations thru Christina Molina (many knotties have used her services).  There are certain limits on certain vendors, like your cake, depending if you like something fancier and bigger, you'll just pay the difference.  But you do have different choices for the cake included in your packet - again depending on what package you pay for. They only cover for the basics if you get the small package. I upgraded mine to get more.  And in regards to the reviews, dont always go based on that.  Stacy and Alizabeth have been wonderful, I email them practically every week and I get a response very quickly, the same day for sure.  In regards to the runner, it doesnt come with one - but you can buy one thru Save-on-crafts for about $14 - $30.  I have no problem spending on that.  Rose petals can be purchased in dwntwn LA for cheaper, but even if you go through their florist, they give enough petals from what I've seen.

The venue is beautiful and from what i hear, they just upgraded the Gazebo area if you're planning to have your ceremony there.  Only one complaint is that you need to pay extra for the ceremony coordinator - I feel that we are already paying enough money to have that as part of the package.  Either way, I have a coordinator (a friend) which will help me with that. *sigh*

Another place I loved was Spanish Hills, not to far from Sterling Hills.  The draw back is that its expensive due to the minimum being so HIGH. :(  And I really wanted to have my wedding on a Saturday.  Unless you dont have a preference, consider looking into that venue too.

Good luck in finding that special place!  :)

Echavez311-  I love Spanish hills too,but I love how sterling is all inclusive which makes it easier.

Since you decided on getting your own invitations ( I'd do the same! ) did they adjust the price, or is it still the same price? How do you like their vendors? Cake,Florist,DJ?

If you don't mind me asking, what package did you end up choosing?
