Who's here?

I just spent all day cleaning my house from top to bottom. It hasn't been this clean probably since we moved in. It was intense! J is coming home with his 3 roommates tomorrow and then Saturday is his bachelor party. They are starting at our house for a BBQ and then going out so I made sure the house was spotless. Still a little annoyed that the BM decided it was ok to host the BBQ here, but whatever.

Whats everyone up to?

Re: Who's here?

  • Hi!

I've been on the couch most of the day watching 48 hours. It's addicting stuff.

Tomorrow I'm taking my car in to get my brakes done so I'll be stuck at the house and cleaning all day.

    I'm here briefly.

We are off to dinner with some neighbors at 6:30.   DH makes and plans invites them to his restaurant.  Then forgets.  Now he is complaining on having to go back to work for dinner.  DUDE, we could have gone anywhere, you are the one who invited them to your place.  Now they are excited.  Deal with it.

  • I took my car in last night Crash. No fun but it only took a few hours so it was not bad. I had a nail in my tire, which is never good to find out.

That is annoying that your H is complaining Lynda. If he invited them there then he has to deal with it! heh.

  • Why do you have to write it all by hand Chrissy?

  • Hiya!  I'm here.  Still icky.  Fever seems lower tonight (less achy and no chills) but still stuffed up in the head.  I took the afternoon off to relax.  My plan was to spend all afternoon Knotting, but TK was in negative time again. :(

Booked our tickets to Cabo for March though - so excited about that :).
  • Oooh Cabo! That is exciting Loopy, :) Will feel especially good in March too. Sorry you weren't feeling good -- seems to be that time of year! I'm praying that I stay in good health through my HM...I was sick as a dog for the first week of the year last year and I will be very upset if that happens again this year!

  • Oh... and I almost hit a ladder in the middle of the highway this morning and the car behind me lost control and ended up crashing into the concrete barrier in the middle.  I saw it all in my rearview mirror and it made me shakey all the way to work.
  • Holy crap, that IS really scary Loopy! Glad you were able to avoid it... I've witnessed some scary crashes and it really does shake you up.

  • I'm here, trying to figure out what to do for dinner.  If I cook something, it needs to only make enough for dinner for me with enough leftovers for lunch tomorrow.  Or I could order a pizza.  I'm being very indecisive right now.

  • Get lots of rest and take your vitamins MuSu to help stay ahead of the game.
  • I mean I get why he is not excited.  He works there.  He always finds a mistake.  We are interrupted every 5 minutes from chefs or managers coming out to see us, bringing us free food trying to suck up.  It's fun for us and guests, but it's still work for DH.

Today we went to the airport to picked up a guy here for task force.  He was surprised DH was there.  Actually I think nervous was a better word.  He was all "yes Chef, no chef", very formally and respectful.  Its funny because DH was dropping the  F'bomb while telling stories.    And there were not complaining stories.  These are just his everyday stories.

I'm just in the back shaking my head.

<div>Yea, the guy that does it is just going to bring me back home which is good. I won't have any distractions so I'll have to do some of the things I've been putting off.</div><div>

  • Cabo - That is cool Loopy.   I've never been.

  • Yeah that is a good idea Loopy, I should make sure to get lots of OJ every morning. :)
I had my 2nd fitting yesterday and we had an epiphany about why my chest was refusing to work in the dress. The dress was designed with a smaller bust area than my boobs need. Basically my boobs are too big for my dress. Soooo we are adding a halter onto the dress and I'm actually super excited about it because the alterations lady is amazing and found a really pretty fabric that matches perfectly with my dress. Plus now I won't worry about popping out.

  • That's fantastic MuSu.  Glad that's going well.
  • I'd probably make myself something Adamar, but that's probably because I don't like many of the delivery pizza places around here, hah.
    image
  • Yeah, I'm totally loving my alterations lady, it is obvious she is really talented and has an eye for how to make a dress fit perfectly and be individual to the person. My mom and I were laughing because she was trying to delicately explain why my boobs were not working and I'm like "yeah, I know, my boobs are like an illusion. They're big but no one can tell, haha."

  • Watching American Horror Story with the family.
  • I'm cool with Pizza Hut.  I'm not picky when it comes to pizza.  If I make something I'll have to go to the store.  I'll probably end up with pizza.

Have you posted a picture of your dress?  What does it look like?

  • I like that boobage description.  I loved my alterations lady too.  She was awesome.
  • Adamar -- I don't have pictures of it, I'm keeping it a secret from TK. ;)

Haha I think "illusion" is the best way to describe it Loopy because unless I'm wearing a bathing suit, you really don't notice it because I have learned how to dress myself modestly enough. They just don't fit my body type.

  • Secrets are no fun when you don't know the secret!  Well then I can't wait to see wedding pictures.

  • Haha, I just haven't liked any of the photos of myself in it, and now that it is getting somewhat of a makeover, I can't wait to reveal it on the wedding day. :) It is a ballgown though, with a sweetheart neckline.

  • Musu, that's so funny.
  • As long as the girls don't grow to be like my mom's, I'm ok with it. I would probably fall over if I had to support puppies like hers.
    image
  • My mom is the same way. She claims that only happened after she became pregnant and hers were as small as mine are now. I find that hard to believe but only time will tell.
  • I'm more afraid of my feet growing when I get pregnant. Ugh.
    image
  • I'm happy with mine.  I won't mind if they get a little bigger when I have babies though.
  • Wait your boobs or your feet, Loopy? haha
    image
  • Boobs.  My feet are fine how they are LOL.
