Hi all,
I'm just introducing myself- I'm 25, FI is 28 and we are newly engaged. We've been together for 2 years and are pretty laid back people so that's what we want our wedding to be. We are thinking of next May for a wedding but have not started any of the planning yet. I'd love to get some ideas fro other Pittsburgh brides!

    Hi and congrats on your engagement!   Pittsburgh vendors book pretty fast so I would say if you are planning for nex May ( depending on where) to start conacting people.  Thats JMO.

    Welcome and Congrats! I agree with pp, depending on where you want your wedding and reception places could already be booked! I am a May 2013 and a Memorial Day weekend bride and couldn't believe how much was booked in Feb of 2012 for May 2013! best of luck and know we are here to help!

    Yes I know I need to get planning! I am thinking that we are going to have a Friday night wedding in May...I figured we might have better luck getting the vendors and reception site that we want. Plus, it will save us a few dollars. Thanks everyone :)

    Just a little update....after going back and forth, we've decided to swtich our date to the fall of 2013. We figured it will give us more time to save & plan! I hope I'm more decisive with other decisions pertaining to the wedding. :)
