Hearing a chipper French song just makes me think of the show now.

    also, the film of the singing nun was used briefly in the movie Mermaids.

    The film La Vie En Rose would ruin Edith Piaf for you, too.  It's an incredible movie (Marion Cotillard is superb as Edith Piaf) but OMG she was a rotten human being.

    Oh, I saw it AF.  Marion Cottard was amazing.

    Also, I have at least 3 friends who swear up and down I remind them of Marion Cotillard.  I take it as a huge compliment.

    I always kind of figure that I shouldn't be holding anyone who works in the entertainment field up as role models, so I'm able to live with myself.  ;)

    My mom used to sing that song around the house. I tune it out whenever it's on, except to think of her.
