I have managed to get a few wedding things done this past week even though I had a root canal and now I have a massive cold.  It has been rough!!  We booked our honeymoon last night, I am so excited!  We are going to the Barbados for a week and are just going to relax on the beach the whole time.  Next up is getting our passports.  I also ordered a return address stamp from Etsy so that I don't have to worry about writing those on the invites.  I got the proof this morning and I love it.  We will be ordering our invitations very soon as well.

I had a mini freak out today when I realized that the wedding is now in under 7 months.  I feel like I have a lot done already but there is still so much to do.  Luckily, one of my bridemaids talked me off the ledge!!  Is anyone else getting a little stressed?

    Barbados sounds awesome! I will be ordering my invites soon as well.

    I have not really gotten stressed yet but I am realizing all the loose ends I need to tie up. I do not feel like I have much left to do but when I think about what is left they are BIG things (writing our ceremony/vows, invites, having FI decide if he is inviting aunts/uncles/cousins, deciding on food, etc).

    I glad your bridesmaid talked you down!

    It's funny because, I am getting stressed for the opposite reason.  I don't want to do things too early - like order my invites and decide on decor - because I am so checklist driven and I don't know where between the 6-8 month mark it lies!

    Congrats on checking off the honeymoon!!!  How exciting!!!

    FI and I booked part of our honeymoon last night- a private cottage in the trees of Kauai.  I'm so excited, I can't wait!  We ended up having to change the dates of the honeymoon in order to book this particular cottage (it has it's own private pool and hottub, so worth it!)  Now we just need to decide how we're getting there and then to the Big Island, etc, etc.

    Congrats! Hope you are feeling better! I am getting stressed bc I don't have very much to do at this point. Have a lot of the big things (venue, band, photog, florist,dress, etc.) done...will be doing Cake in April and just starting to look at invites and bridesmaids dresses. I am getting nervous about all the little things, and I don't like not having a crystal clear idea of how they day is going to go. But I'm very anal about that stuff haha :)

    That's how I feel too, I have most of the big things done but it's all the small things that seem to be neverending.  I was stressing about my centerpieces and the color of the sashes for the chairs.

    Simply - your honeymoom sounds amazing!  I would definiely sacrifice the dates to stay in a place like that.  That is going to be so nice.
