WR: I'm glad it's Friday coz its the last weekend before my wedding! Yaaaaaaay! I'm done with all the preparation and now i'm just obsessed about the weather for May 26th... hahaa...

NWR: busy weekend. We're attending my aunt's 70th birthday and Fi's Grandma's 80th surprise birthday party...both on the same day!

Busy weekend here, but I keep saying that about every weekend!! Was supposed to have my fitting today, but I get there and my dress isn't ready. So now, I am going back tomorrow. I also have a hair cut/color tomorrow, facial tonight. (only one week to go!!) also this weekend we have to get my ring cleaned and re-dipped, shop for the rest of the decorations, and shop for everything we need for the honeymoon. ugh!! I just want to catch up on sleep.

WR: Checking out two more bands this weekend, meeting with the priest this evening to finalize our ceremony plans (confirm the verbal agreement), going on round two of dress shopping, and scheduling appointments with three photographers we'd be interested in. so much to do!

NWR: catching up on SLEEP! I wish...Friend's birthday tomorrow night, that'll be fun!

What bands and photogs are you looking into?!

Bands- Don Eaton Band, CTO Tribeca. Already narrowed it down a bunch. We're going to the CTO showcase on Sunday and the BVT Showcase on Tuesday. We went to an earlier BVT showcase and didn't like anyone, but it's an (almost) entirely different lineup on Tuesday. I love the Don Eaton Band, and they're trying to work with us and our budget. Cuz we originally budgeted for a DJ and are now trying to move things around to afford a band. Sigh.

Photographers - We've just started researching ones we like. Haven't narrowed it down to who we'd like to interview yet, so FI and I hafta sit down this weekend and figure it out. Any advice?

@melisrodis - those bands sound great! Trying to squeeze a band in is a great decision, I think. Our band totally made the party! As far as photographers go, it totally depends on budget and style. We LOVED working with LoRusso Studios. I was emailing with a few others, but we only interviewed LoRusso. I'd worked with them in other weddings and seen their deliverables (they show the e-shoot and ceremony pictures during the reception!), so once I was comfortable that H and I meshed well with Bob and Lola personality-wise, I was sold. My main advise is to interview photogs until you find one that you guys get along with --- because they'll be with you most of the day. And there will be a lot of one-on-one time with just you and the photog. If you're wanting to rip their heads off, it will make for a very unpleasant day.
