Work has been downright nasty. Not in a bad way, but in a "we have a 5000ish person conference in May" and shiits getting busy.

Good morning!

I have two lectures to give this week, and I realized yesterday that my clinic has me double booked to miss one of the lectures. Double booked with very sick patients, no less. Sigh.

Sir Whisky is good! He's finally stopped the annoying howling at 3am but he's still playing in the blinds, so we constantly have to fix them. But he was good last night and slept next to my head all night long. And no stealing allowed! Although, you'd probably give him back after you found out how much of a pain in the ass his medicines are.

After work today I'm going to talk to my manager about a supervisor opportunity that opened up here. I want the job, but not the pay cut (this was the issue last time) so I'm going to see if negotiating a different pay scale would be an option. If not, then it's not even worth me applying.

Hola Rosie!

I am well, thanks for asking. School is just getting busy, but with six weeks to go, it's not a huge surprise. I just woke up from a crazy night of nightmares, and H was running late for his 25-hour day. Fun times. At least I'll get a lot of work done tonight.

Howdy. We "slept in" until 6:30 today. It felt wonderful. I have some cleaning and school work to do today and Mr B has his online class tonight so we probably won't do much running around. I'm watching BB practice her letter flashcards. She knows ALL of the sounds and names. Yep, I'm bragging on my 21 month old.

She made an AE to talk about something private that she didn't want to talk about under her SN, and she asked the KG to delete it. They deleted her real SN instead. At least that's what I think she said. It got confusing.

Good morning! My phone thought today was Thursday March 8 and even told me the weather for that day instead of today. Crazy phone.

Shoe shopping was successful last night for two of my BMs. I even found a pair of brown flats to replace my old decrepit ones that I love but it was time to replace. Too bad I wasn't paying enough attention and there were two right shoes in the box instead of a left and a right.

Sesh, I hope they can work something out for you pay-wise. I would think that a supervisor position would automatically be a payraise anyway.

LTB, that's adorable. I love kittens. I love them when they're full-grown cats, too, of course, but there's something about a kitten (or puppy, or any baby animal) that just gets you.

FMIL is driving me insane, she's being overbearing and keeps trying to push her/her mom's jewelry on me for the wedding. It's a very sweet gesture, but I've already bought a necklace I REALLY like. I keep telling her this. I can't return it, yet she insists that I find something out of her jewelry to wear to "save money". On top of it all, our taste in jewelry, clothes and home decor are WAY different.

In better news, we got our invitations printed up and I've started assembling the final product. I'm so happy with how they are coming out.

Hi ladies! It's my second day back at work and already it feels like I never left. Yesterday I went to the gym before work and forgot my dress shoes so I had to wear my gym shoes all day, and I felt super government employee-y.

Cfas and Midge-

It isn't jewelry with any significance, she just keeps pulling anything and everything from her jewelry box. I get it, she only has sons, but it is nothing I would EVER wear (big chunky gold pieces). Gold looks really bad with my skin tone.

I have really small earlobes and it really hurts to wear chunky earrings. She has on a number of occasions, after I have mentioned that I can't wear those types of earrings, suggested a pair that big and heavy.

I also get a little weirded out by wearing someone else's earrings. In addition, I'd be worried about not losing/breaking whatever she leant all night instead of enjoying myself. Any time I borrow jewelry from my mom it is the same situation.

Again, it's a nice gesture, but at this point it is just annoying.

He's much better at posting pictures than I am, but I'm hoping I don't have to tag myself in all of them so people can see them that aren't friends with him. Heh, we both got super shitty. We didn't go to sleep until around 5 on Saturday morning. We met some fun people.
