J&K, I met BF the last week of finals before both of us were graduating from college. We were introduced by friends and ever since then we have really been inseparable (I could make the story much longer, but I felt like the short version would suffice!). :0) We graduated when we were 23, and we are 26 now.

The dog is Cooper, and the cat is Dooley. The cat is actually pretty friendly. He was just trying to guilt me into petting him some more.
Cooper is a whippet/random hound mix. He has zero body fat, so he likes to snuggle, especially in sheets still warm from the dryer. He has a sweater collection... He also has a fear of chairs with wheels. He gets stuck. When he tries to get out of the chair, it rolls on the wood floor and freaks him out.

Hi! Tell us about yourself. -Howdy! I'm 33, a born and raised So-Cal girl and a broke-ass civil servant. I love live music, dancing, the beach and vodka of all kinds. Why don't you post much? I usually only Knot while on breaks and lunches at work and for some unknown reason, the ability to post is sometimes blocked. When's the wedding (or not, we don't mind if you're not engaged, unless you're BSC)? I got engaged June of 2008. We're a tad bit procrastinator-y We've always wanted someting simple and small. Since we're common law already, we're looking at JOP-ing it by August 5th which wll mark 15 years. That makes me sound like a G-ma! What made you pick SB to lurk on? I've always jumped between E, NEY and SB. I'd registered EONS ago for a friend's wedding and have lurked sporadically, ever since. When TK switched formats my posts were reset and now I think it shows I have 2. Pitiful. Do you lurk anywhere else? See above Post somewhere? I'll try! Favorites and least favorites? Boards? Regs? C'mon...we all know I'm gonna say Fischy. And Nuggs, RachnRich, Ricks, Poli, Celles, J&K, TJ...But it's been so long since I've paid rapt attention I'm afraid I'm behind the times. Be gentle?
Hi! Yep, FI and I met at Knott's Berry Farm when I was fresh outta high school. I can't really explain why we never hitched. I guess we were too busy having fun and it wasn't a "priority" ? That doesn't sound right because we've always wanted to be married. Anyway, it'll happen when it happens. . We're dying for real estate so I'm afraid our pathetic savings are reserved.

Nah, I think it sounds fine. Getting married doesn't HAVE to be a "priority" for anyone. So many people make it that way and think "well man, are they EVER going to get married?!" and think it's weird if you don't. But if you're both happy with the way things are moving then there's no harm in doing some other stuff first, IMO!
Thanks for that, doll Most of our friends and family stopped asking. When I bring it up to FI he's like, "Wel, I just want to be married and it's like we already are so....what would you like to do?" Sometimes I want the party and to take vows in front of our families and sometimes I want to go to Europe instead. Our budget is a set-in-stone $5k and our guest list is < 50. Doable but we're the most indecisive people you'll EVER meet.

For cereal? Can I ask you how old you are? Because I'm expecting you to say you met in elementary school (not because you post like an immature sillyhead or something, but just because I imagine you to be in your 20s, and your picture looks like you're in your 20s. And not the higher ones).

Cool! Does your SN have a meaning?
Everything the light touches is my kingdom.
My SN is a line from a song called Nowadays by Carbon Leaf:
"So steadily go, the rain
So steadily go, the time
So steadily go, the season"
I like it because it sounds very calming to me.
"Sounds of laughter shades of earth are ringing through my open ears inciting and inviting me"
I'm going to look up that song now. It sounds like something I'd like.
Everything the light touches is my kingdom.
The dog is fascinated with burrowing in freshly made beds, and the cat is 15 lbs of fluffy love.
Everything the light touches is my kingdom.
