Shot list?

I have seen those shot lists everywhere, but when i made one and sent it to my photographer she said she doesn't work from a shot list, that it's not her style but to trust her in capturing everything. I do trust her, but should i ask for specific shots or just let it go? I understand that it's not her style and that a shot list my take away from her doing what she needs to do and i don't want to offend her in anyway, but i just want to make sure we get some of the details covered. Am i being paranoid?

    No, you're not. Make sure she knows the things that are most important. She may not want the whole day planned out, but she won't you upset you didn't get the most important things to you either. Be assertive and make sure you come from the "I want to make your job easier" angle
