I confess that I'm just a little irritated that FI's co-workers (mostly all female) are throwing him a "Man"-shower today and taking him out after work for drinks to "celebrate". I'm cool with the shower but are drinks on the friday night before his bachelor party really necessary.
I'm probably being a big baby.... but wanted to just get that off my chest...
Jen - I understand where you're coming from with that and would be a little irritated too (although luckily for me FI doesn't worth with any women lol)
I confess that I am feeling quite overwhelmed with everything right now, not just wedding stuff, and it really hit this morning for no particular reason. I kinda feel like I'm fighting back tears at work, and not totally sure why/what started it. Hoping work goes by fast today...
Brit I feel the same way. My confession is the exact same and i'm not even completely sure why now. I'm exhausted thinking about everything that needs to be done in my house and funds are so tight.. Plus, I'm also feeling extremely drained at work, like it's time for a change... Just not that easy!
Jen stop in for drinks. It's not a Bach party for him so I'm sure your welcome, if not go anyway. Lol. That's exactly what I would do!
Britt I hope your feeling better. Have some drinks this weekend and try to relax a bit!
Erin we like graphic! Well I do anyway esp after reading 50 shades of Gray. Now that's graphic
Jules. You need to relax with wine too!
I confess I'm totally stressed out about DHs surgery and my sisters showed all being at the same time. How am I gonna do this. Ugh!!
I confess that I am really hoping to make it through next week without my brain exploding. I have a 4th exam on a few chapters for Anatomy & Phys. on Monday, a lab exam for that same class on Tueday, and my Chem final (cumulative), A & P cumulative final, and the department final for A&P on Wednesday.
And to top it off....FIs niece and her mom came in from FL yesterday and we haven't seen them in about a year so it is going to be hard to leave to go study.
I am sending all your lovely ladies positive thoughts, to help you get through your stressfull times!! It will all work out, just take everything one thing at a time
Jen - I would feel the same way, but just try to roll with it....
Jenn - Sounds like you have a lot going on! I hope the surgery goes ok, deep breath
I confess that I wish I was sick today.... so I could just be lazy and do nothing for a change. Between my FI and I we have had way too much going on... and I just want a day for me!!
Thanks Jen --- FI has really stepped up this week to make sure our wedding is amazing and that I am happy. No matter what he is a great man who I am lucky to be marrying That is what I gotta keep thinking about right now !
I would be upset about the man-shower thing too !!
Jenn, Britt & Jules -- sending lots of knottie vibes your way
I confess that I don't want to do any DIYs and that I want to try the new red velvet pancakes that are at IHOP even though they're not on my wedding diet. And, I may actually go get them today, lol.
Britt- I just finished the third book last night! My confession is that I miss Christian Grey :-( (even though he can be kind of scary) I wish I hadn't read the books so quickly! lol!!
Jen I think that you whoudl go meet them for a a drink!! It would be fun :-) I know that my FI is totally getting a man shower - he works with almost all women - but I love them all. They have been really good to him over the years - we call them his Delaware Moms :-)
I confess that today I have been really moody and don't know why, its like I can laugh at myself being in a bad mood because I don't know what I'm upset about but it doesn't change the fact I'm a little irritable... lol
Faith- You crack me up! I want those, too! I'm actually counting down the days until I can eat bread aka Hawaiian sweet bread french toast!
Jen- You should just join them. Britt- Do you need to cut more DIY projects? Erin- That sounds perfect. Only with my husband doing it to me. Jules- Keep your head up. Nicole- Good Luck! Jenn- Hang in there! Stef- You should plan a day just for yourself. July/Nicole- Have you read Hunger Games? Trudy- Where's your confession?
I confess I'm going to be annoyed with my work if they don't do anything for me! I've contrubutated to many gifts and done things to celebrate everyone else's babeis, marriages, etc. There will be sushi punches all around if they don't!
Oops - here it is! I confess that I have done absolutely nothing as far as planning our AHR. We found a place and that is all that has been done. I just don't feel like it! I am excited to be having one, but just don't feel like planning 2 parties :-) In my mind I just keep telling myself everything will fall into place!
I confess that I am unfortunately starting to take my stress out on the FI. We FINALLY decided on a destination now the problem is the date. Today he tells me he doesn't care anymore and to just pick one. Now I feel bad i wanted him to have a say. The problem was that our reception site is booked the whole month of June no biggie to me well move the wedding up. But to him BIG deal. He wants our anniversarys to be nice out and I didn't see the big difference in the beginning of May compared to the end of May but he does. So i put my foot down, he put his foot down and just gave in, now I feel bad

Im saving book 3 for DHs surgery. That Should keep me pre-occupied!
I confess that my mom thinks our AHR invitations are ugly and I do NOT even care at this point. 4 months and I haven't even ordered anything...I NEED to get something, I think they're cute, FI likes them, SCREW IT IM PLACING THE ORDER!
Kimmy- The Hunger Games was actually next on my list! Saw and enjoyed the movie so I figured I may as well read the books. I want to reread The Great Gatsby also, since the movie is coming out with my hunk...no not my FI, Leonardo DiCaprio!!

I have read the Hunger Games series, and it is GREAT!! 50 Shades of Grey is a new one for me.... and I have been looking for a new series to read!
I was wondering the same thing!! Kimmy - what are sushi punches??
And yes, I think planning a day for myself is needed.... Things always tend to pop up and take away from it though :(

Sushi punch is an important attack tactic when dealing with women!
