Does anyone have any suggestions for a beach wedding ceremony with an indoor reception for $60.00 per plate?

    Yes! Somewhat...it's not a beach, but Shooters has a banquet facility on the intracoastal that might be perfect for your budget, super pretty views and delicious food! You can have your ceremony near the pool and water, as well.

    Um, there's a lot of places at that rate!

    Maybe check out the Marriott or Ramada hotels on Hollywood Beach. I'm sure there's more up in Fort Lauderdale too.

    Haha when *I* I was looking... nope... then again I was super picky! I would definitely check out Shooters though!

    I was originally looking for a Fort Lauderdale venue (since the church is there) but honestly found nothing that would accomodate the 180 guest list at this cost. Everything seemed to be well over $100 pp.
    So we stared looking a little bit north to Hollywood for the reception. I found my venue (Hillcrest Country Club) but it is slightly higher than $60pp and not near the ocean. But I really did fall in love with the romanitc feel of the venue.
    It works out because the majority of our guests will be coming from Miami so at the end of the evening, they are actually closer to home.
    I brought up Shooters to my FMIL for the rehearsal dinner. It seems to have a very nice view and I would love to incorporate at least one of the activities near the ocean.
