Because of her itchy vag obviously! No I'm kidding - I'm sure she was... but it's more dramatic if you tell the story and leave that part up to the imagination. She was wearing a short skirt though and I didn't think a thin layer of underwear was enough protection for my bed.

  • Boogers.  Have those been covered?  Because I'm certainly going to judge anyone who picks their nose and wipes it on their couch - either because "it can't be gross because it's natural" or because they're trying to not waste paper (tissue).

  • I am so glad that I wasn't hungry when I started reading this thread.  It would have taken my appetite.

I'd just like to say that delivering a placenta is NOT ripping it out of the woman's uterus.  I've delivered my share, and no ripping or wrenching is involved.  Just mild pressure to the umbilical cord and some pressure on the mom's belly.  Also, most childbirth videos stop before the placenta is delivered, or they are focused on the mom and baby while the doctor is taking care of the placenta.

That's all.  This thread has made me laugh, groan and shudder repeatedly.
  • I can't honestly say I've ever told anyone when I had a yeast infection, that just seems embarassing to me.
  • For some reason the only bodily fluid that truly grosses me out to an uncomfortable point is pimple/abcess pus. Oh my god. And that's all I have to contribute to this.

Good I'm not the only one!
I had a UTI that turned into a kidney infection once.  I ended up in the ER with 104* fever and I was vomiting everywhere.  I seriously felt like I was going to die. It was awful.

Well exactly. It was weird for lots of reasons. That's a. B) is that we weren't that close. c) is that she described it as "raging" and d) my guy friend was sitting at my desk. Ahhh she was fun.

Well I did mention a doctor ripping a placenta out of a woman, but that was information I received from my doctor friend when she was in school.

I wasn't saying it always happened, just that sometimes it does happen that way.
