This. If there isn't anyway to change the colors for the groomsmen, just make red an accent to their attire.

I am having two shades of pink in my wedding and incorported the colors throughout. My dress is ivory with a soft mauve belt, so my MOH is wearing rose petal from David's Bridal, which matches the color in my dress perfectly. My other girls will be wearing watermelon. Our bouquets are roses and are a mix of those two shades, as well as the flowers used for our table centerpieces. Even the wedding cake will have cascading flowers matching the two shades. My fiance and the ring bearer will have vests and ties that match the rose petal color, and the groomsmen will be in watermelon. It's sort of a color explosion, but I think it will all come together very nicely. I actually really like the idea of having various colors and LOVE your patriotic theme. I have always said that if I had a fall wedding (rather than summer) that I would have had each of my BM's in various colors of changing leaves. I think your colors will be great!

I would put white or red bout on the guys, and incorporate red into the bridesmaids flowers.

I am doing multiple colors as well. Women in plum, little girls in lilac. Men in gray, little boys in black.

My origianal wedding party was only going to consist of family. My cousin is the one who backed out on me by text of all things. I actually didnt want to ask anyone to replace her, but it was brought up to me in our circle of friends because of facebook. Yes, our friends and family air personal business on facebook. I was actually offered her help and since she is a good friend, I told her at the time in front of people that I would figure things out. Then I called her privately and asked her. She says she is honored and Im paying for her dress, shoes, bra, hair, nails, etc. All she has to do is show up. I actually dont care if replacing bridesmaids is frowned upon. I lost my mom, I dont have any family helping me unless I pay them and I dont have a bunch of money or time to deal with stupid details. Its like going backwards. My bottom line theme of this wedding is low key and no stupid rules. I did that with my first wedding when I was 17. Im only doing what I want this time around. Thank you for your advice and suggestions, I sincerely appreciate it.

it was all in her origanl post. A brides maid quit, she addmitted opting to replace the BM so the sides would match. A couple of us called her out on it and she changed he orignal post a couple times.

She asked for some advice on colors for the dress of her b list bridesmaid. I guess she wants her in a different color because its to late to order the orignal one.
