Meeting florist for estimates....

So I finally made my appointments to meet some florist for all of next week. I have an appointment with TK, Stylish Blooms and Just for you. Can't wait to meet them and get an idea of how much flowers are going to cost.

Now, I need to collect all of my ideas and bring them along. I already purchased our centerpices so I'll bring that along.  Are there any tips or questions that I need to know about before meeting them?

I have a list of things things to ask. How long they have been in the business, how much control do I have over final product, who delivers them, do they know the venue and here is a link to a site that has more questions.

I'm going with Custom Floral but TK is wonderful too. I love the owner.

I would also ask about what is in season for the time of year your wedding takes place, because some of those flowers that are not in season cost an arm and a leg to import.  If you can't get the flowers you want due to seasonality, it would also be wise to ask the florist what flowers would be good substitutes.  Good luck!

I'd also ask about size.  You wouldn't want to assume that you'll have this big, beautiful bouquet, only to discover on your wedding day that it's more like a nosegay, ya know?

thanks again for all of the tips.
I'm hoping that by bringing in pictures of what I want that will help the florist gage what I'm expecting.
