I flame the crab for being a waif. We get it, you were sick. No need to tell us every hour how horrible you felt and what you had to take in order to feel better for the last week. You are not getting sympathy from me. I also think it is craptastic that you took off 3 days and left early one day and you are still giving me hell for leaving early one day when you caught what I had. I also flame myself for giving the crab a second thought. You are not my boss anymore, woman.
I flame Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson for breaking up. They would have had the most beautiful babies.
But a friend wrote on twitter that she thought they broke up because they "decided it was only fair to let more people sleep with them" and share their attractiveness with the world. I laughed so hard!

I have a great big flame for Planned Parenthood. I went to the Denton location, my normal one, on Wednesday to pick up my Nuvaring and they were out, so they told me that they would fax the prescription to the Lewisville location so I could pick it up Thursday. So I went yesterday morning and they had never faxed the prescription! So I went back to the Denton location this morning and they said they're not going to get it in until Monday! I'm extremely frustrated because I actually needed it on Wednesday. I told Courts, maybe this is a sign I'm not supposed to be on BC anymore??

Lacey- hush and quit being an a**face!!! j/k.. I know what you mean. I've never understood why there is a "Snarky Brides" board to begin with, and the E board is just ridiculous. I've never found it helpful in any way, shape, form, or fashion.

Oh gosh, I've been having probs with my BC as well but it was more of my mistake than anyone elses because I couldn't find my stash or my new prescription with the move. So much for that "Important box". I'm always for getting off meds when they aren't absolutely neccesary but after not taking it the last few days because I had nothing, I feel sorry for everyone around me. DH said he didn't notice a differnce; is that good or bad? LOL. So I ended up paying $60 for the off brand of Yaz last night, which I find ridiculous. This buys me time to get my stuff in order and go back to getting it via mail order for cheaper.

i've been using CVS for about 3 years now, they call me when my script is filled 3 days PRIOR to when i need it, every time...and if i am out of town or something...CVS is EVERYWHERE, and i can get it where ever i'm at...
also, youch, $65...i think i pay $9 for mine. but we probably have different insurance, surely there can't be that big of a price difference from PP and CVS?
I don't have insurance - that's why it's so expensive. I'm about to call CVS and Walmart and ask for their prices. Like I said, I just signed up for 6 months of coupons, $15 off each time, so that should help.
Can someone inform me what kind of shoes you are supposed to wear with jeggings, or even leggings? I'm fashion challenged.
I have a pretty small waist and upper body, but my hips, butt, and thighs are big. For that reason, I don't belt sweaters or wear skinny jeans and knee high or UGG type boots even though I'd like to.
I also have ski's for feet... so wearing booties or whatever with leggings looks...weird.
Oh..and yeah.. sorry this has nothing to do w/FFF.

Wear a sweater that hits mid thigh or so and wear boots (mid-calf to knee). I think it's a really cute fashion trend. I do get the whole jeggings thing. It can be hard to tuck your jeans into your boots, because of the whole texture. So, they made leggings that look like jeans. I just think the name is stupid.
Anna - ignore me if I'm intruding, but can you tell me your feelings about the nuvaring? I stopped the pills back in April (yes, hello acne for the wedding). I stopped because I felt SO moody. How are the hormones for you? (If you don't mind me asking).
Lacey - I don't mind at all! I love the Nuvaring (hence the reason I'm willing to pay $65/month for it). But I've never been on any other BC, so I can't really compare. I actually have a lot less PMS with it. I got off of it while I was living in Nashville, and the first month I was like "what's wrong with me??" I had forgotten what PMS felt like LOL. They say that because you get a constant, small dose of hormone, it can really reduce mood swings or nausea or any of those side effects that come with BC pills.
Tiff, i'd like to wear leggings and what not as well...but i have SUPER skinny legs, and the fact they are so long makes me feel really exposed. I also have smaller feet than i think i should lol, so wearing any kind of UGG boot or whatever---just draws more attention to that i think lol
Lacey, i know you weren't talking to me...but i'll butt in anyways i've been on the nuvaring for about 4 months. BEST decision ever, i've tried everything, the pill and shot made me sick to my stomach, everything else just made me so moody and i hated it. You honestly can't tell it's there, and so far neither can my FI (sorry if that's TMI lol) but that's what i was most worried about, was being uncomfortable. i've had almost zero side effects, so maybe this is just me...but i'd say go to your doc and ask for a trial, they usually provide it free for a "trial" and see if you like it
lol, my doc said its a good choice of BC, but i originally steered clear of it just because the idea made me a little apprehensive. And the other BC affected me different than alot of her other patients, i'm a smaller person...only about 108lbs. So the shot, and pill just kicked my ass. There were time i honestly drove to the ER because i couldn't stop getting sick...i will NEVER go to anything else again.
Sarah i'd say give it a shot! that was one of the only reasons why i didn't in the first place, and honestly you can't tell it's there. And with out going into to much information, like i said, neither can my FI...which was another reason that held me back.
I was on Yasmin for a really and really liked that. And I've tried Seasonique. I did the $9 birth control from Walmart for a whlie and I didn't like that one at all! I got really bad cramps. I'm on a low estrogen one right now....is the nuvaring a lower estrogen BC?
I LOVE the nuvaring. I have been on it for two years now. I have no problem with acne and my mood swings are rare now. I have had a lot of trouble on all the other bc's out there and was finally glad to have found the nuvaring. Sorry to have butted in.
My fff for today is that I am tired of all the cranky people that come through our store. Quit being rude and you might get good customer service from me. Otherwise, I will walk away and ignore you! Bah-humbug!
P.S. I hope everybody has a great holiday!

i'm not sure if it is or not...lol..to be honest...because i dont know the technical parts of it...but this is what the website says: "it releases a steady amount of birth control hormones."
if you're a religious vitamin taker tell your doc...there are certain vitamins that you can't take while on it...
