  Oh and when I buy a house, for safety reasons I want a hydrant RIGHT outside. A friend's neighbor's home burnt down because the hose couldn't reach from how far away the hydrant was.

  thank you!!  i love everything about our house...  it had everything i wanted, except a tornado shelter...  but we'll have one of those put in before spring comes.  we moved all his stuff in there, and i've started to stock the kitchen with some basic items. 
  
  we're going to do some painting before i move in, and putting knobs on cabinets and drawer pulls on things...  add some storage to the bathrooms, stuff like that.
  
  first place i'm starting is to paint the utility/laundry room...  i think a fun color would be great, like a latte brown, green, or blue-green...  even purple!  any opinions on painting a small space a non-neutral color?
  
  once we replace some of the shubbery, i'll add more pictures.
