As most of you know, FI and I are getting Carter a puppy for Christmas. The breeder we are going with just sent us pictures of the future Sugar :)

    We have discussed details on teh pick up date yet. I want to get him/her as close to Christmas as possible. Ideally on Christmas Eve. We will see!

    So I was going to respond in the Thursday thread but I wasn't sure if you would see it..

    Is your advisor also the one who is grading this project?  Honestly, I'd print these e-mails and go talk to the professor tomorrow and explain your situation.  However, at this point, I'd almost be scared of advisor giving bad advice because they just want to rush through it.
    What subject is this for?  If you want some extra advice from a lowly French/Kindergarten teacher, I'd be happy to look at it too ;)

    Yes- she will be grading it. This is for my big integrated research project/IRP on healthcare marketing that I have been working on for over a year. Its kind of a big deal...so I am super frustrated. I understand she is getting tons of these from everyone, but then let us know sooner that you wont be able to give feedback before teh deadline. I would have been revising every night if I had known. Very frustrating! Either way, it will be done tomorrow at midnight ahha!

    And thanks for the offer.... it is 60 pages of boring research, so I am not sure you'd want to read it!! I have had it proofed tons of times, what I really need is for her to look at my content of my last couple sections. *sigh*

    So cute! What kind of puppy is it? I'm sure Carter will love her! I know I would!

    ETA: This is also completely none of my business, but getting a puppy made me think about how your family will be even more complete with her...are y'all going to try to have children right away so that they're as close to Carter's age as possible? Just curious! Feel free to tell me to MYOB. haha

    Sugar is a mini Teddy Bear (half bichon frise and half shih tzu). I am SO excited to get her!!!

    We plan to have kids whenever it happens. We won't be "trying" but we wont be not trying. :) I am secretly hoping for a honeymoon baby :)

    Sugar will be waiting under the tree when we get home from church on Christmas Eve. We will tell Carter Santa made a special stop so Sugar didnt have to be in the cold sleigh all night. :) I think we will have him/her in a crate with a big red bow on it.
