Blizzard Boredom!!

I think I'm going to go nuts before this storm is over.

Are any of you ladies stuck inside tonight?

Re: Blizzard Boredom!!

  • Yes!!! I am going nuts too!  I really should be doing housework but I can't move off the couch.  I have that bad feeling you get from napping too much...Bleh.

  • I'm inside but waiting for the freakin' snow!  It's only just started to flurry here.

However I've occupied my day thus far making cookies.  Gingerbread men were the last to get out of the oven and now the condo really smells like Christmas!!
  • Stuck inside also....went out early this morning for provisions (alcohol, juice, chips and dog bones)...the line in the supermarket was not to be believed.  I got what I needed and came home to avoid the crazy crowds everywhere
  • We're stuck inside, about to play some cards and drink some malibu pineapple rum and cranberry. I'm not a big drinker but the snow made me want some.
It's crazy here though, about 16inches and it's still coming down.

  • I'm stuck inside because it's raining and humid outside, but far from snow here, obviously! I've said it many times already, but so jealous of your white christmases!
  • Yep yep.
We just took the dog out for her final pee break of the night. I had to make a path in the snow because she couldn't push through it. When she stepped in the path she completely disappeared because the snow is that high. She's a lab sized dog!

Official measurement outside my apartment.....21" and still coming down.
  • We have 20 inches or so here and it's still coming down. Obviously I'm not going anywhere tonight (and most likely tomorrow either).

ah!  I  have a NZ knottie coming on the 10 of January.  I hope there's still some snow for her to enjoy
  • Hopefully it will stop tomorrow so we can save his car from the side of the road. Other than that we're holing up and turtling this out.
  • We had a dusting 2 weeks ago that was gone by noon. I'm not sure if I'm bragging or complaining here.
  • I'm snowed in and bored at my parents' place. My mom has the ability to watch the news for hours on end. What does the news say? It's still snowing. Surprise, surprise.

oot, which knottie? One from P&E?

It does snow in some parts of NZ (well, and a few places in Australia for that matter, but NZ is colder than here so snows more) in winter... but obviously no white christmases for us Australian/New Zealanders.
