reception to match the ceremony

ok, so i have a great reception site, the only problem is that the colors of the carpet/chairs do not in any way match the colors of my wedding. should i get linens that will match the site (and accent with the flowers) or my colors?

    Your colors don't have to match anything at any of your venues.  People are only going to be inspecting the walls or carpet if the party is really, really boring, so focus on the party not being boring and no one will care what the venue looks like.

    Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284
