My best friend Sarah was recently engaged... I've been asked to be her maid of honor and we are now in the rudimentary phases of planning. She and her fiancee have their hearts set on a destination wedding in Hawaii (I live in Ohio, where her family also lives, and she and her fiancee live in South Carolina).
Is it possible to plan a destination wedding like this, on a fairly conservative budget? Her parents are pretty well off and will undoubtedly be helping with costs, but it's safe to assume they're adverse to these costs getting out of hand.
Just curious to know what everyone thinks right off the bat. Thanks for your input. : )
