KD, I'm the same way!  I'm always "Cate with a C" or "Cate D"

I was Catie as a kid, and just gave up by 6th grade.  Too many Catie/Katie/Caty/Katy or whatever other spelling people can come up with.

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: Stupid baby names : Hmmm, my FI and my brother have the same name. But for SOME reason, I don't think I'll confuse the two in my brain. But maybe that's just me?

No, I'm sure I wouldn't confuse the two people with the same name at all, but my other objections didn't change his mind. Making it creepy convinced him!

I do find it weird to call his Dad by the same name.  When he comes to visit, I just switch to calling my BF "sweety" or "honey" because otherwise it drives me nuts.  I definitely don't think about his Dad or his Grandpa (who I never met as he died many years ago) at inappropriate times.

There was a boy that I went to high school with that was named Barjon.  His parents couldn't decide on a name so they put their first names together.....Barbara and Jon
