HOB Mandalay Patio

We are looking at holding our 60-80 person cocktail reception after our VOTF cermony at the Mandalay Bay House of Blues "Patio" overlooking the strip.  does anyone have any experience or has seen this location?
The coordinator said it has its own elevator and can be customized how we want for our three hour reception.
Anyone have any thoughts on this, heard anything, or have seen this spot?

Not sure if there is an actual patio outside of the HOB itselft (I could be wrong, but I have never seen it).  The patio they may be speaking of is upstairs, at the Foundation Room.  If so, the view is awesome up there!  We seriously thought about booking our ceremony/reception up there, but ultimately decided on another venue.  I have some info on the Foundation Room if you're interested, :)

Yes, the patio off the foundation room.  Great!  Thanks for the feedback.  So you have seen it?  Is the patio small or good sized?  They said it can accommodate up to 100 people for cocktail reception (standing with some couches and tall boy tables).

I am having my ceremony and reception in the Crossroads room at HOB. Are you speaking with Amber? She is awesome to work with!

The FR's patio is beautiful from what I have seen in pictures. There is a 7k F&B minimum for daytime receptions, and night receptions are 15k. Weekend nights are even higher than that, maybe 22k?

I have some of the info. If you want it, PM me your email :)

The HOB is an awesome place!

View is awesome, no problem fitting that number of people.  Check out Mix Lounge too, same view, same dedicated elevator setup.

The view is amazing. The decor is not at all flexible....it's library meets Buddha. If it will work with your vision, it will be great

MB also has a Mexican restaurant called border grill! MY friend used them back in 2007 and I am going to use them as well. It's really reasonable and can hole your amount of guests. plus the patio area over looks there pool/lazy river.

We ate at Border Grill because we were compteplating them for a reception but the choices of food were not what I was wanting.  It was very nice though.
Until the first full year of being one! Anniversary

ya the food is a little more casual. we decided to do the live cooking station because the food choices are alot better! but as far as getting bang for your buck they are a good choice. if the other 2 werent so pricey I would of looked into them too! Good Luck
