My FI's SIL is really hard to shop for and he needs ideas, so I figured I'd come to you ladies.
I got her a ring dish for Christmas which was around $15. My FI is trying to also spend $15 on her.
She's not a typical girly girl at all. Doesn't wear make-up or like bath products. She has a lot of cats. They just bought a house a couple years ago and are trying to decorate that. She's trying to start cooking more so something for the kitchen might be good.
So, throw your ideas my way.
Re: Gift for SIL
You guys don't just give her joint gifts?
Navy, are you on Cruise Critic?

Yes ma'am I am.

We usually do, but we're spending $30 on her husband, so we figured we should spend about the same on her.

Dresses may be easier to take in than let out, but guest lists are not. -- kate51485
I saw your name pop up today or yesterday on one of the Dream threads. Freaked me out a bit. When do you sail? What are you thinking about all the reviews? Freaked out at all?

We're sailing on the Dream on April 17th for our honeymoon. Western itinerary. You?
I'm pretty excited about the ship. It's a big jump from the Celebration (our last cruise). I'm a little worried about the buffet lines, but hopefully that gets fixed soon. We have an awesome cabin, so I'll just get room service a lot if need be. lol
Its quite a bit up from what I've been on too, I was on the Victory with my parents right after graduation from high school. They are getting ready to take me on HAL...that should be interesting...lol
Not sure what we're going to do for excursions yet. I'm thinking cave tubing in Belize, ruins in Costa Maya, and checking out the brand new Mahogany Bay in Roatan.
Do you have any special sites or anything for getting discount DW tickets? I haven't been able to find anything. I'm just figuring there isn't anything really.

Squirrly, I just bought a Speedo snorkeling set, just the mask and snorkel. Is the snorkel supposed to fit in comfortably? It kinda...bends and I have to hold on to it with my teeth. I've never done it before, so I'm not positive how it's supposed ot be...

Your FI's feet are bigger than that, I think. Perhaps he can go flipper-less.
LVB, military & dependants go to DW free.
Posted by squirrly
This isn't true. The military person gets a 5 day park hopper ticket for free. The dependants have to pay for theirs. It is a discounted rate though.
