Hotel Block: Anyone have experience with the Tom's River Ramada or the Holiday Inn?

Hi, I'm trying to pick a hotel for a hotel block, but I'm not having my wedding on-site at either hotel. The Holiday Inn is probably quieter and nicer(?), I've never seen it. The Ramada is negligibly less expensive and it's on Rt. 70 right between the church and the reception. It seems like it could get a little rowdy with the on-site weddings and that's why I'm hesitating. I think the older folks would be less amused with the carousing and the noise than my and FI's friends (who will probably be contributing to it after they get back from my wedding). Anyone have any thoughts?

    Ramada had a better price so we went with that.  No complaints with noise and we were an off-site wedding too.

    We're having our reception at the Ramada.  Personally I love the hotel.  The rooms are nice, and clean.  There's no noise from the highway.  The staff there is wonderful.  
    I have never been to the Holiday Inn, but don't they have weddings there as well?  If your concern is noise from the weddings on site, I would think you would have that at either place.

    We are also having our reception at the Ramada. They showed us their rooms along with the reception hall tour and they were all nice, neat and clean. The rooms are also on the other side of the hotel so you won't hear that much noise from the wedding if any. Good Luck!

    Thanks ladies! I'm going to go with the Ramada. I didn't realize that the Holiday Inn does weddings too, now I know. My FI also said that the area around the Holiday Inn gets completely backed up around Memorial Day.
