    1.  Your Name & your Other Half's Name!
    Tyonne and Bobby

    2.  Your Wedding Date
    March 27, 2011 {We're looking at changing it to May}

    3.   Your Wedding Colors
    I wish we could come to an agreement. Frown But I want aqua and red.

    4.  Your Age - His Age
    21/31

    5.  Honeymooning where?
    He hasn't told me.

    6.  Does your wedding have a theme?
    Nope. I just want it to be modern and fun.

    7.  How did he propose?
    Well, he told me the 1st time we talked on the phone {before meeting in person} that he was going to marry me. I laughed. But since then, he's already purchased my ring... BUT I'm still waiting on an "official" proposal. I know he's planning something big. I just want my ring! lol. {What a loser story! I'll let yall know when I get my official proposal!}

    8.  What do you think has been your biggest courting challenge as a Christian couple and how have you all overcome it?
    My biggest courting challenge has been dating a minister. I have NEVER wanted to be a preachers wife.

    9.  Any advice for other couples?
    Don't let others dictate your relationship.

    10.  What's your fave wedding movie?
    I don't think I have one, but I did enjoy Our Family Wedding.

    11.  Fave wedding TV show?
    Bridezilla and My Fair Wedding

    12.  How long between the proposal and the wedding?
    Be it that there's yet to be an "official" proposal, I guess I'd have to say less than a year.

    Hope I didn't BORE you guys!Tongue out

    Do the people in his church know that you two are going to be married?  If so, have they been welcoming to you?  And are you part of the same church?  How did you meet?

    It didn't bore me at all! I thought all the questions in it were cute - lol!  I think aqua and red are cute!  Just pick them and start buying stuff that goes with it - then he'll have to go with it - lol!

    I love that he halfway proposed over the phone the first time you talked!  How did you end up dating a minister?  Did he approach you or vice versa?  Did you know he was a minister when you met him?  I'm all ears on this one!

    <div>When we started dating, I didn't care for his church and he didn't care for mine. So, we started going to another church together. {Which answers are we apart of the same church... we are now.} But people at his former church and people from my former church both know.</div><div>
    </div><div>We met when my dad died. It's really a long and crazy story. In the mist of my being "next of kin" at the age of 20, we ended up meeting because we have a mutual cousin. {Weird, but we're not cousins!!! lol}</div>

    <div>So glad I didn't bore you! About the colors... I told him I was starting over from scratch {minus the venue} on wedding planning  and I will listen to his input. He already calls me bridezilla! And that over the phone proposal... I still laugh about it because I laughed at him and told him I was gonna marry 'such and such', but, oh well. lol.</div><div>
    </div><div>Remember: when we 1st "met" it was over the phone. So there really wasn't an approach per say. He was just there for me in a time of need. But he did initiate us going out. After he told me he was going to marry me and I laughed at him, he was like: just let me take you out to dinner one time. That one time has turned into a million times! lol. So, I guess he was the approacher, cause I didn't even like him in the beginning, to be other than a friend.</div><div>
    </div><div>I think he told me on the phone that he was a minister, but I don't remember. lol. I'm so not a girl! I forget all that kind of stuff. I don't even remember the date we became "official", we just do our anniversary on the date we met. {Pray for me!}</div>

    I'm so late, but hopefully you will revisit this thread.

    I enjoyed learning more about you. We both post on another board together, but this goes to show that we can always get to know each other better. I didn't know that your FI was a minister. Awesome! I am a PK (preacher's kid) so from talks with my mom, I know that there are a unique set of challenges, but she has shared many times that it is so rewarding knowing that she is married to a true man of God and journeying with him as he works to bring people closer. Hang in there!

    I love your colors...my dad's god-mother has offered to throw a shower, but closer to time, she'd like to know if there are any special requests. Knowing her, she will plan a kitchen or recipe shower so my one request is that she use aqua and red...it would give that type of shower a 50's housewife type of feel. :) If she never asks, I plan to throw a shower with those colors and that theme for the next close friend or family member of mine that gets engaged. Can you tell that I love your colors?

    Kudos to paying for things in cash also! That is our plan also and we really hope to stick to it although it is so tempting to "swipe it" sometimes!
