  We're having both dad's wear the same tux as the rest of the guys but with silver vests

  My dad is wearing a charcol suit he already owns, FI's dad...not sure, maybe he'll buy a suit or just wear pants, nice shirt, and a tie. FI and his GM are wearing black suits though, no tuxes.

  Ours are wearing black tuxes with silver vests/ties.  Same tux as the groomsmen just different color vests.

  Our dads just wore their own tuxes and somewhat color-cordinated ties (we had all the non-GM men wear burgundy ties...ushers, dads, etc).

  We had dad's wear the same tux as the usher and groomsmen but they had a black vest and tie instead of colored.
