Blazer next to dress uniform

Do you think a light grey blazer, a blue skirt and heels would look odd next to the Class As?

It also depends on the color blue for the skirt I think.

I love the blazer look (Kristen wigg in bridesmaids) however it would depend on where you wear it.

I think the two outfits won't match or compliment each other.
I also think you don't HAVE to match him.

We will be taking pictures together. Could the shirt that I wear under the blazer tie it together?

I also agree with FTL. Wear something that works with a brunch. Who cares if you have pictures together? H and I have pictures together and I'm in sweats and he is in jeans. It doesn't matter.

Is this the Christmas Brunch? I would wear something a little bit more holiday-y like a sweater dress...

I don't know, it really depends on the blazer...Pictures would be more helpful

I would probably advise against something like that...

Shoulder shrug, yes. Sweats are for gangsters.

We're getting married at 5 pm on a thursday. I'm wearing a pink dress. This is the christmas brunch for FI's unit. It is a class A event. They hire someone to do family pictures

Why don't you attempt to make a friend within your FI's unit to ask these questions to? Katelyn would be the only other person who's familiar with what to wear to a NG Unit Christmas Brunch.  For my squadron Christmas Parties, were usually semi-kinda formal..  Guys wore button downs, some ties.. I didn't go last year because it was the night before I got married and I was 4 hours away from base..  The year before that, I wore a sweater dress, tights, and boots.  Since its a brunch, I would maybe go sweater and skirt with boots... but seriously since your aparently "not yourself" with us, be yourself with a GF/FI/SO of someone in his unit and ask her.

I tend to not to try match my H.  I am my own person and I want to be seen as that.  I cannot think of one picture that we have together were we match.  IOk well when we are wearing t-shirt and jeans.  I think we dressed a like at Disney and didn't mean to.  I was so embarrassed when I got to the lobby and he was wearing a black shirt and jeans as well.  Yeah we were that couple but as a mistake.  I think it is much better to compliment each other than looking matchy matchy.  I agree, after all it is not the prom.

Hike- if you were a true "gansta" you would have pushed one leg of those sweat pants up to your knee.  Did you?  HAA I just got a mental picture and now I am dying!!! Thanks I needed that this morning!

Crown- that's not as gangster anymore. That's now a hipster move. Yup. You heard me. because hipsters ride bikes and you have to rolled up a pant leg so that it doesn't get caught on the kickstand. True story... :P

First- really?  I did not know that changed.  Now I feel old.  I am leaving to go to amazon and by the latest version of the Urban Dictionary so I can make sure I am up to date on lingo.  Laughing  I can not be looking a "fool" (is that the right word still) and have my street cred questioned.  HAA

hahah I know crazy, right? It seriously took me a year of college and a confused look to figure it out... Who knew that gangster and hipster could have a common link :P
