My college was a "dry campus." Since your body is a vessel, I was arrested for Minor Consumption of Alcohol. Yeah, apparently you can get arrested for that. So lame, I had a few beers and then had to share a cell with a crackwhore named Crystal, orange jumpsuit, nekkid showers and all.

People think I'm hard when I tell them I've been arrested twice. Then I tell them what it was for and it's not so cool anymore. At least Crystal livens up the story... and my mug shots. Those were hilarious.

Luckily, all charges were dropped and it's not going to affect my career (teaching).

Ah, no. I just sat there sobbing while she tried to comfort me by going into graphic details about how her life sucked so much more. She also ate my waffles in the morning.

Oh, no worries! I truly recognize its comedic value. It was miserable at the time, but I did learn how to hold my pee for 7 hours. Since I was drunk, that was pretty impressive.

I should say, the word 'waffles' is used quite loosely. I don't know what they were, but they were supposed to be waffles. We were also given decaf coffee, you know, so we didn't get all hyper in the cell.

"Lunch" was two pieces of white bread and bologna.

I know where that is! My mom grew up in Normal, grandparents lived there until I was 12, still have aunts and cousins in LeRoy, and my sister is going to ISU in the fall. I actually enjoy that area. I would rather live there than Springfield or Peoria.

Eureka is weird, I hate it.

Nick works in bloomington and I work in Peoria, so its a good halfway. ISU is a great campus, Nick went there, I loved visiting and just walking around when he was in class.

OK this may be unrelated but I was just watching a PostSecret video on the official PS website. There was one that said "They don't know it but I cut a piece of hair from the kids I babysit while they're sleeping." The postcard had a picture of about 10 locks of hair.
