Wilmington - Where can I have my reception?! AHHH!

We are getting married on the beach, which one, we don;t know yet! ha.. we are thinking Fort Fisher as it is where we have the most history.  Therefore, I would like some place close to hold the reception but everything I seem to find is either too far away (I feel) or too small.  I love the thought of an outdoor reception or renting a beach house for it.  I also love the exposed brick aspect of some many of the location in Downtown Wilmington.  I just don't know where else to look!  Any information or guidance anyone may have would be greatly appreciated!!! Thank you all!!!

You can rent the aquarium for your reception.

I forget the name of it now but there's a venue on the riverfront in Wilmington that overlooks the battleship.  It's really neat and was our runner-up for location.  You could also have your wedding ON the battleship ;)  My fiance tried hard to get me to agree to that haha.

The BlueWater Grille is on the intercoastal water way and it's gorgeous and romantic. If you're having a smaller, more intimate gathering you could do the Oceanic Dining right on the beach. Oceanic Dining isn't as elegant, but wonderful for a laid back, relaxed wedding. BlueWater Grille is going to be on pricier end and Oceanic Dining is definitely cheaper. Just some suggestions though, hope it helps!
