Can't decide on bridemaids 'dress

Ladies , I need help!!!! We need to order by March, but I ( we) still can't decide on bridemaids' dress. I want elegant short dress, Strapless ,  knee lenght  but more like sheath...The girls don't want to chose the dress themselves..Only one of them can look around with me ( and she likes everything she tried on ..).We decided on one yesterday , David's Bridal 83707 ..I thought it was okay and it was the comfortable one .But FI thinks it's not elegant nor dressy enough for our formal wedding...and was shocked that I"m even considering style like that ..I'm just tired of it..I want them to look good and all but it's  not coming along especially when they are not helping with  participations etc..

Please help!

    I am having the same problem, and need to decide around the same time that you do. I have no idea what to do, but I did get a great piece of advice the other day. My auntie told me that I have looked at tooooooo many dresses ( and I like almost all of them) she said to pick something I have already seen and STICK to it!

    I like that BD dress. I think it would be nice, even in a formal setting.

    @ Wonders: Thats funny...my 4 BMs are wearing that dress in the pool color. The comfortableness & the pockets are what my BMs & I luv about the dress.

    Does your FI expect more of like cocktail-style or floor length dresses since its a formal wedding? Maybe you can look into those...if you haven't already.

    Wow! Tyboyd , these Bari Jay dresses are beautiful!!!!! Thank you soo much . I can see myself wearing many of them . Humm. I will let you all know which one we choose !

    @ lil01, That 's exactely what we loved about it too!  we wanted long dresses to start with. According to him it's more elegant and all, and I agreed , but after I saw one of these Daily Gorgeous wedding, with  these nigerians girls in short dresses,  I told him we can still find short dresses that are  very elegant as well. So , he's like , "none of your choices  are making me change my mind on the floor lengh dresses 's style ! " Hummm , who would think he would have a say on bridemaids' dresses . lol I'm browsing through these Bary jay dresses and hoping some will make the cut ..I"m also thinking of bringing him to David's bridal and try that dress ( 83707)on , with dress shoes ...He might change his mind when he actually sees it on ...IDK . But thank you all :)

    My BM's are also wearing that DB dress and my MOH is wearing 83998. We liked them because of the pockets and the opportunity to wear them again.

    What about these DB styles? I think its in-between what you and your FI want
